Ajax Amsterdam Strikes Two-Year Regional Partnership with KB88 in Asia

The prominent Netherlands football club, Ajax, has secured a two-year regional collaboration with Asian gaming platform KB88. This agreement designates KB88 as the team’s official gaming associate in Asia for the upcoming two seasons, providing them with sole promotional privileges across the continent.
Although the financial particulars remain undisclosed, Netherlands news sources indicate that the arrangement will contribute roughly €400,000 yearly to Ajax’s finances.
Ajax, recognized for its substantial online presence, especially on Chinese platforms such as Weibo, intends to utilize this to enhance KB88’s brand awareness.
Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar conveyed his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing it as a crucial step in the club’s goal to expand its Asian supporter base and international reach. He drew comparisons to their prior successful partnerships with Asian powerhouses like CST and Huawei, expressing hope for a prosperous collaboration with KB88.
Sharing this sentiment, KB88 spokesperson Darren Royle expressed assurance in the partnership, highlighting Ajax’s storied past, esteemed standing, and celebrated youth academy. He believes the collaboration will substantially elevate KB88’s brand visibility across Asia.
