Prague Gaming Secures Ontario License Poised for Expansion in Canadian iGaming Market
13.06.2024
A gaming firm headquartered in Prague has received a gaming provider authorization from Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO). This allows the well-known B2B vendor to supply its offerings and solutions to vendors in Ontario’s freshly regulated iGaming sector, slated to commence on April 4th.
The authorization encompasses Prague Gaming’s Player Account Management system (PAM) in addition to its extensive collection of iGaming and sports wagering material. This marks a substantial move for the company, closely following prosperous introductions in other regulated jurisdictions such as the UK and the Netherlands.
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Prague Gaming, conveyed his excitement, remarking that the company is well-prepared to assist its Canadian associates as the market gears up for its opening. He emphasized their latest triumphs in comparable regulatory landscapes, demonstrating their preparedness for the Ontario market.
This authorization clears the path for Prague Gaming to partner with numerous B2C vendors who have already obtained their licenses in Ontario. This roster features major players like Rivalry Corporation, PointsBet, theScore Bet (a branch of Penn National Gaming), and 888 Holdings.
Ontario is set to emerge as a dominant iGaming market within North America, and Prague Gaming is strategically situated to leverage this promising prospect.
The Ontario region is our home base,” remarked Rooney, discussing the Ontario market. “We’re delighted to witness the regulated internet gaming sector opening up in this province. It’s a massive chance for Bragg to display our premier content and platform technology in a market overflowing with possibility.
“This authorization to function as a provider in Ontario allows us to maintain our forward progress as we prepare to debut in this dynamic market. We’re already observing significant enthusiasm from local, American, and global operators, encompassing those with both physical and digital operations.”
